If you are looking for a way to downgrade your PSP, then this is the solution for you. Pandora Battery is a program that was created by a group of people under the Prometheus project. They were going to make a downgrade for the M33 at first, but then they made a better and wiser decsion, by making a downgrade program that would work with any firmware there is and to come.

I have not downgraded my PSP yet, but I am going to this weekend. I know this is going to work, because I have read blogs, where users have downgraded to firmware 1.50.

For those of you who don't know the advantages and disadvantages of downgrading a PSP to firmware 1.50, please make sure you do some research before attempting to do anything with your PSP.

The Pandora's Battery will require you to purchase (if you don't have one already) a spare battery, because the battery that you will use to downgrade your PSP will no longer be useable as a normal battery. You will only be able to use it to downgrade more PSP's.

I bought an extra battery for $11.00 US, from e-bay, it's a pretty good deal, although it's not SONY brand, but if you don't care about brands, then this is a great way to go. The PSP battery I bought from e-bay is an 3.6V 3600mAh, this is cheap.

Now, I found out that K-Mart is selling the original SONSY BRAND 3.6V, 1800mAh batteries for $4.00 US, also a PSP car charger for $3.00 US. This is the best way I think, to downgrade your psp or just have a battery backup, I know I bought the one battery from e-bay, but I am going to use that one for back up. I now need to buy the $4 dollar one and downgrade my PSP. I don't know for how long the promotion is for, but if you want one, go get one ASAP.
